'Mandala' means 'circle' in Sanskrit. The rest is as varied as
cultures on earth....
For my own mandalas, I collect acorns fand melt silver and....
....yeah right.
I use heavy bond watercolor paper and Prismacolor markers.
If the paper's black, I use the Prismacolor pencils.
I finally got a compass, protractor, ruler and
other far more techical tools
than this non-drafting artist needed
before.
Jung said mandalas are 'vessels for the psyche'.
I don't know about all that.
As soon as I come up with one that doesn't
resemble a Dixie Cup competition,
I'll be glad to show you.
But in the meantime,

depth and beauty of these
